heartbreak but it’s a cinema
'“After You” was born from the thought that sometimes love doesn’t end with fireworks; it ends in silence. I wanted to distill the weight of a breakup into a single beat: the moment when closure is given, and nothing more needs to be said.
With minimal locations, no dialogue, and only a few frames of movement, I aimed to rely on silence and imagery to let the audience fill in their own memories and pain. The short runs under half a minute, but I hope it lingers like the echo of a goodbye you never truly hear.
